Job description

We are delighted to offer the opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our business team in Manchester, committed to delivering the high standards our customers and consumers have come to expect.  
The team covers a wide range of accounting areas including: balance sheet accounting, tax, fixed assets, capital expenditure, cash flow forecasting, cash and bank accounting, stock accounting and product costing.
Their purpose is to ensure the integrity of the company’s financial statements through the development and enforcement of robust processes and controls in the shared service centre.
As a commercial support associate, your key tasks will include processing commercial claims and price queries whilst supporting Account Managers according to strategies and service delivery models.
Commercial Support Associates are required to work collaboratively with other teams, in particular Credit Control, Commercial Finance and R2R to drive down KPI’s and contribute towards process improvements.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities 
  • Responsible for delivery of day-to-day claims and price query processing
  • Administrative support to Account Managers, as required
  • Build effective relationships to work towards best practice
  • Deliver consistent, accurate and timely information to the business
  • Improve customer service quality and relationships
  • Ownership of selected processes to ensure the business maximises financial returns
  • Actively contribute to ensuring all process documentation up to date and correct
  • Ensure actions are taken to address items listed in the Internal audit risk register
  • Assist with audit queries both internal and external audit
Minimum Requirements
  • System knowledge – SAP, TPM knowledge is desirable
  • Experience of working in a Shared Services Centre
  • Good communication skills – verbal and written, and the ability to discuss basic accounting principles
  • Good excel skills desirable
