Sharing our delicious Devon custard with Malta

Our International team has been raising awareness of our iconic Ambrosia brand and sharing the ‘taste of happy’ in Malta at their annual strawberry festival. 

To celebrate the start of strawberry season, the local council in Malta organises an annual festival, which our International team have been involved with for the past three years.

The festival, which is attended by around 20,000 local people, allowed our brand team to highlight the delicious pairing of Ambrosia custard with fresh strawberries. Locals could also  purchase pots of our tasty rice pudding and pouring custard. The promotions team hosted an eye catching stand, distributed promotional leaflets and treated attendees to delicious samples of our Ambrosia products to generate consumer awareness. 

Alex Mullins, International Business Manager, explains more about the opportunity: “Malta is a small but well established market that has a historical relationship with a wide variety of our most loved brands. Taking part in the annual strawberry festival gives us national exposure to showcase Ambrosia as the festival is advertised on TV, in the press and online and is a great way to encourage trial and attract new consumers.”
