New European factory for Nissin

IMG_1964.JPGEarlier this month, our CEO Gavin Darby and Strategic Relationship Director, Hannah Dickinson, took a trip over to Hungary for the opening ceremony of Nissin Foods' ("Nissin"), new state of the art European factory.

Nissin has experienced significant growth in Europe and attributes some of this growth to its successful partnership with Premier Foods. To keep up with growing demand, the new €33M factory will help boost Nissin’s production capacity across brands including Soba and Cup Noodles.

Our strategic partnership with Nissin has enabled the launch of our Batchelors Super Noodles in a pot and we’ve helped expand their sales of Soba noodles in the UK market through our distribution networks. During the visit Gavin and Hannah met with Koki Ando president of Nissin and joined Tsunao Kijima, Managing Executive Officer, on a tour of the new factory to see the site's manufacturing capabilitIMG_1969.JPGy and innovative technology.

Speaking after the visit Hannah said: “It was great to be invited to the opening ceremony and see Nissin’s products being made in the new facility. Following the phenomenal success of Super Noodles in a pot we’ve got some exciting plans in the pipeline with Nissin and look forward to seeing more of our products created here.”
