​Bigger and better for Ambrosia Deluxe

Our Ambrosia team has tapped into a trend of consumers favouring larger, sharing style pots of their favourite desserts and snacks by introducing their Ambrosia Deluxe range in new 450g tubs. 

Research has shown that consumer perceptions of quality, freshness and taste all significantly increase when Ambrosia products are available in a sharing pot versus other smaller formats.

Available in 4 flavours: West Country Cream Deluxe Custard, Salted Caramel Deluxe Custard, West Country Cream Deluxe Rice and Spiced Apple Deluxe Rice each pot serves up to 4 people giving consumers great value for money. 

Robert Watson, Ambrosia Brand Manager, explains more about the super sized variety: “Our sharing pots are modern and convenient - being both microwaveable and re-closeable and can be stored in the fridge so they can be enjoyed by consumers again and again.

“By launching our premium platform in sharing pots we will be able to drive penetration of the Deluxe range, attracting new and younger consumers to the brand and encouraging existing consumers to trade up.”

The sharing size pots are currently available exclusively in Tesco and will roll out to the rest of the trade from next year.
