‚ÄčOur Lifton colleagues sample healthier eating options

To support one of our health commitments, which is to expand healthier eating programmes across our sites, we’ve recently started to work with our catering provider Servest to make nutritional improvements to the food on offer, create healthier menu options and improve the nutritional information we provide in our canteens. 

Our Lifton site recently took part in  the roll out, which involved Servest chefs hosting ‘tasting days’ this week during which colleagues were asked to give their thoughts and feedback on the new healthier options, in order to decide which would be added to the weekly menu.

Colleagues sampled dishes including: Char-grilled lemon and herb chicken, Moroccan meatballs, lemon cous cous and red cabbage slaw, Chicken tikka, brown rice pilaf and tomato salad, Roast salmon, sweet potato and chorizo. 

Once all the feedback has been collected, the most popular dishes will be introduced as an extension of the current canteen menu.
