Mr Kipling's range of healthier pies and cakes

First launched in spring 2022 after three years of testing and development by our expert bakers, Mr Kipling Delicious & Light offers a range of cakes and pies for consumers who want to choose a healthier treat, which still delivers on taste. This is also the first full range to meet the government’s healthier eating guidelines.

The Delicious & Light range, incorporating Bramley Apple Pies, Bramley Apple & Blackcurrant Pies, Angel Slices with Raspberries and Chocolate Slices, plus seasonal specials, scores less than 4 on the Nutrient Profiling Model used by the UK government to identify healthier foods.

Made at Premier Foods’ Stoke and Carlton manufacturing sites, the products contain 30% less sugar, lower levels of fat and salt, real fruit, and up to 10 times the amount of fibre compared with the standard Mr Kipling range.
